The City of Houston has contracted with Child Care Council as administrator of Community Development Block Grant funds from the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The funding supports successful planning and implementation of neighborhood revitalization programs.
Specifically, Child Care Council provides administrative oversight for contracted agencies providing Early Childhood Education Programs and agencies providing Juvenile Delinquency Prevention Programs for youth. The programs provide needed services to support families and individuals as they seek to maintain employment and improve their economic viability.
