Child Care Council is contracted by the City of Houston ‘s Housing and Community Development Department to provides administrative oversight for agencies who assist persons at risk of experiencing homelessness or have become homeless. Case management and supportive services are included to undergird the stability of families and individuals and maintain economic self-sufficiency, thereby preventing homelessness or the return to homelessness.

Emergency Shelter, including victims of domestic violence, Homeless Prevention, Rapid Re Housing, as well as other services targeting homeless youth 18-24 years are a part of the program.
